| "Our children don’t often tell us in words how the haircuts we give them make them feel, but you can see by their actions how caring for them changes their outlook. Our children have experienced physical and sexual injuries to their bodies in addition to emotional injuries to their minds. Haircuts and styling are one way we show them that their bodies are theirs and deserve respect and care. Children who have never cared about themselves begin to ask to use the products provided by Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation to do their hair. They start to believe they are worthy of the love and care we give them and build on this foundation of self- respect for their healing and growth. Thank you for supporting our partnership with Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation as we make this transformation possible for the children of St. Vincent’s Center ".
